Our company’s operations are designed around PSiRA standards, which derives from the Private Security Industry Regulation Act 56 of 2001, for providing Security officers and mobile patrol services. As a firm committed to excellence, we maintain the highest industry standards for security officers. All of our security officers are highly trained and are subject to both continuous site supervision and random inspections. Our security staff can also assist in undertaking additional duties such as, reception, stock control and administration, dispute management and health and safety checks.

We have developed one of the most comprehensive approaches to client services through our Monthly Report System. Our operations managers organise regular meetings with clients at designated intervals for the review of our security plan on sites. Our approach is to discuss individual needs with each and every client and then to design and implement a comprehensive plan that fully meets with the requirements.
Established in 2013, SDS Protection was the brainchild of Brett Schwartz and Grant Davies. Brett and Grant took it upon themselves to create a security company that prides itself on cost-effective solutions that benefit all South Africans.
In 2020, Grant had decided to move on from SDS Protection and left the company in the trusted hands of co-founder, Brett Schwartz. Brett has since taken it upon himself to expand the business to new heights and has been very successful in doing so.
The Gauteng based company grew organically over the next few months leading to a nationwide presence to date. SDS Protection is also a Level 2 BBBEE contributor and continues to strive for equal opportunities for all.

We have grown steadily and rapidly over the past few years and now provide daily protection for over a hundred commercial customers and have a steadily growing armed response client base.
